Grateful
03:27
|
|||
It may look like a waste of time here
Closing eyes forever fill
Broken lines and blurring vision
At speed of light remaining still
So goodbye I’ll say I’m sorry
Already gone goodbyes I gave
It’s present now within this body
Reflective mind and shades of age
And I thought of you today and smiled
I lost myself to space awhile
Life just seems to pass us by
For a better day you know I try
And you’re still the only reason why I stay
You were born as a best friend to me
Trusted as flesh is to blood
Together as one we always will be
Forever respected and loved
Time found a way of slipping us past
And it’s moving faster each year
While seasons do change and this will never last
For now I’m just thankful you’re here
For now I’m just grateful you’re here

Some Things Missing
05:11
|
|||
I used to think leaving this old town, would turn things around, for me
Now that I’m so far away, I’m haunted just the same, what I’d do to hear those voices
I guess the things I’m missing are things I’ll never get back
There’s some things I’m missing, some things I’ll never get back
I’ve got to find a way to keep things real, in this plastic dome, some call home
I guess I could always smash the face in, but that’s been done before, and it’s proven to be useless
Those are things I’m missing, the things I’ll never get back
I guess the things that I’m missing, are things I’ll never get back
I’m gonna find it someday……
You know it’s tearing me apart
To try and think of words to say
How people disappoint me in so many different ways
But we’re all in this as one
We’ve got to find a better way
The world will change, I know it will, believing in someday
Someday…….

Prospect Hill
06:43
|
|||
I
Watch as you turn away
Sun Light
Shines down upon your face
And I
Choke back three words to say
Then Fall
Safe to that warm embrace
And I, I
I
Will never be the same
This Time
Brought the most perfect change
And You
Have found the cure for pain
Inside
Beautiful and so strange
And I, I
The sun went down on Prospect Hill
I wish this time was standing still
We always knew it would end this way
And leave us both so sorry
The sun went down on Prospect Hill
Please don’t forget, I never will
We always knew it would end this way
And leave us both so sorry
The sun went down on Prospect Hill
Within these arms I’ll hold until
We always knew it would end this way
And leave us both so sorry
So Sorry, So Sorry, So Sorry,
So Sorry, So Sorry, So Sorry Now

Black Sheep
06:38
|
|||
Black sheep splitting family
Black sheep does he look like me
Black sheep never finds his place
Black sheep hides his milk white face
Black sheep splitting family
Black sheep does he look like me
Black sheep breaking all the rules
Black sheep just another fool
Can it be
Possibly
You are me
I didn't think so...
Nervous spasm in your eye
Infection needing blind supply
A beaten dog wanders alone
And rips the meat from a filthy bone
Black sheep beating family
Black sheep does he look like me
Black sheep never finds his place
Black sheep hides his milk white face
Black sheep beating family
Black sheep does he look like me
Black sheep breaking all the rules
Black sheep just another fool
Can it be
Possibly
You are me
I didn't think so...

Under You
03:45
|
|||
The sun will rise again
Now it’s under you
I’m breaking free from thoughts
Of yesterday
Now and forever will always be
Our time has come
